Exercise - Architectural Shooting #1

This is the photo I took of a bench that represents the current senior class. At the time I didn't know that doors and architecture was our assignment but since someone did make this I believe it counts as architecture ;)
My partner and I were able to make this photo much nicer and she even showed me some new things that I had never used!

My partner in crime for this assignment, Ellen, took a picture of this door which I believe belongs to our English teacher Ms.Bozeman. If I could change anything it would be the way it was shot at a straighter angle.

Thursday Thoughts!

Each week on thursday as a part of our photography class we will be posting a weekly summary of what we learned in photography.

This week (mostly today) we learned about white balance and how it can affect the hue of the photograph as well as a refresher on ISO. I learned that you need to be specific about your white balance (daylight vs. artificial) or it will change the look of your photo to either a yellowish tint or a blue one. Neither of those are good for photos so don't do it!!!

This has been the first installment of THURSDAY THOUGHTS!!!
